Hi! I’m Deanna - a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, Certified Dyslexia Interventionist, and Special Education teacher!
As a former Broward public school teacher, I worked at schools across the district, including Silver Ridge, Horizon, and Winston Park Elementary. At each school, I saw firsthand how children slip through the cracks.
That’s why I started Sunshine Literacy.
I know how to teach reading in a way that works. My team of reading specialists are trained using research-based practices.

How It Works
Evaluation
Every child starts with a comprehensive evaluation that identifies their strengths and areas of need, so we can get straight to work.
Tutoring
Tutoring is provided in groups of 3-4 children. This makes tutoring fun - our students love their sessions!
Monitor Progress
We record your child’s performance during each session so we can provide you with updates and progress.
